Processes are key. All CSDI work product, whether completed by employees or collaboration providers, is directed by our business processes. Those processes are the guiding hand that coordinates the diverse talent needed to construct and maintain a reliable environment. Our processes ensure that all delivery steps are complete and govern implementation. The processes are built in the context of our operational framework. They ensure that our operations team can implement work and respond to problems effectively. CSDI utilizes industry standard IT asset management (ITSM) software to track and inventory all customer software and configuration items so work can never get lost or go undocumented.
Complete System Design, Inc. maintains a small core of highly qualified in-house staff. These technical managers and process designers define the teams needed to implement customer solutions. Individual experts are engaged in project tasks only as long as needed. Those experts come from an extensive network of technical talent and subject matter experts developed by CSDI principals over decades. Those experts may come from software vendors ensuring complete product knowledge or from a pool of offshore resources, ensuring maximum economy.
CSDI operations is provided by integrated Managed Service Providers (MSP). Our MSPs are experts in our platform and the software products we provide. CSDI utilizes industry standard IT service management (ITSM) software to facilitate the handing of requests and problem resolution. Customers can always determine the status of their request or incident.
CSDI delivers a galaxy of software products. Our specialty is Microsoft software. We look to Microsoft first because of the richness of the their offering, easy integration, superior identity management and the raw power and scalability of the Microsoft network. Nothing about our choice of platform inhibits the use of products from other vendors. In fact, the Microsoft Azure platform supports many non-Microsoft applications and operating systems.
CSDI began as a computer software design and development company. While those skills are in our DNA, customer software development is seldom practical or affordable for small companies. The market is so rich with excellent software products, there is little need for custom application development, with one important exception: system integration. Frequently, common data is shared among multiple application systems and keeping that information accurate in all instances is challenging. Here again, CSDI used design principles to implement an integration platform that effectively meets integration and workflow demands.
CSDi specializes in deployments to Microsoft O365 and Azure computing infrastructure. There are many reasons we believe that Microsoft Azure is the best platform for small business.
Information security is a top concern. Identity management, though Azure Active Directory is built into this platform. Also, Microsoft has done an excellent job segregating infrastructure components. Administrators with different expertise can be given permission to work on in components without gaining access to the entire environment. Network access is limited to application components though the extensive use of virtual firewalls.
Most of our customers already use Microsoft products. The integration of this software can be done efficiently on the Azure platform.
Microsoft provides exceptional operational support through their own Operations Center and through their tier 1 partners.
Microsoft provides excellent support for third party and open source software products.
The Microsoft maintains over 30 interconnected data centers in the United States alone. Each datacenter has tens of thousands of servers. This fabric of computing capacity provide a remarkably scalable and resilient platform for our customers.
In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model. You create a new model and make the old one obsolete.
